Lettie Jay was born and raised in Landing, Wyoming. She knows everything about everything that goes on in the town. So when three kids show up at her office looking a little rough around the edges, she knows something isn’t right. It’s Christmas Day. Kids should be wrapped up tight with their family, getting ready to open presents. She heads to the local sheriff, Tucker Long, to get them some help.
Tucker is just heading out the door on his way to his family’s Christmas party. After hearing the children’s plight, he decides that they could use some holiday cheer, at least until he can figure out what to do with them.
An old-fashioned Christmas with the Long family warms the children and warms Lettie to Tucker. Somewhere between singing carols and carving the turkey, something clicks. Could he be her mate? Is it possible? She’s already fallen head over heels for the three kids, alone and afraid of being put back out in the cold. She can’t help but think about her big house going to waste with no one in it but her and her cat.

Are you looking for a quick Christmas read with bear shifters? If you are, I recommend this story. I read it in less than 1 hour and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a nice introduction to the Rancher Bears Series and now I will be checking into the other stories.Christmas Day and Lettie is working in her travel agency. With no family to speak of, she didn’t want to be a third wheel at her friends’ house (even though she was invited). When three cold, hungry, under dressed children walk in, her life changes.
Tucker, the sheriff, helps with the children and captures Lettie’s heart in the process (she gets his as well). I’m not going to give any more of the story line away, I recommend one clicking like I did and enjoying this short story.

Short and sweet. I like the Long clan looking forward to getting to know them. The sample looks promising also.
I loved the captivating characters and the intriguing storyline. I couldn't put it down and stayed up late to finish. It was well worth the missed sleep.
Now that's the Christmas spirit! All family, friends, and building family. This is one bear shifter family that you'll love to discover.
Tucker and Lettie's story was so sweet. Never know what will happen when opportunity and fate smile on you. A straight Christmas miracle.
Sweet story about friends who see each other in a whole new light when the right time comes.
And a family that pulls together to take care of 3 abandoned kids.

This is the perfect Christmas Story. Abandoned children, longtime friends, cops and lonely business woman. It sometimes takes something bad to wake people up to find their mates. Great read.
Short and sweet, perfect to read while that pie is cooking for Christmas. Lettie, a lonely woman who works on Christmas, finds not only the perfect gift with Tucker the sheriff but three something else as well. Left a big smile on my face!
